ABOUT
When thinking about Fine Arts what comes to mind? Maybe you think about hyperrealistic art or observational studies which is par for the course for the studies of a Fine Artist but not always the case as a Fine Artist. In fact, a Fine Artist is very flexible based on the material or medium that they choose to work with and this varies from person to person. Whether I would watch an animated film or play with my toys, the essence of both art and design were present. This appreciation for both art and design in my everyday life continued until I was eleven years old.
However, it was not until highschool that I fully realized how labor intensive and important the production of artwork can be as a student, you needed to challenge yourself in the art making process. In doing this, I found that by overcoming my personal challenges in the process of making art. This encouraged me to further pursue a career in Fine Arts as a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology by continuing to not only improve my craft as an artist but to inspire those who want to produce art by becoming a Fine Arts teacher.
